Mind. Body. Connection. Growth.

Counseling for the whole person, at your own pace.

River Falls is an intentionally small practice — which means more time and attention for every person we see, and no one hurried through the door.

Our work is grounded in warmth, evidence, and genuine connection, from first conversations to the deeper work of change. We offer individual, couples, and integrative wellness therapy for clients age 8 and older, in person and by telehealth.

Kelsey Traughber

Kelsey Traughber, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Kelsey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 13 years of experience working with individuals across the lifespan, from children and adolescents to adults and geriatric populations. Kelsey earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Spalding University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Louisville.

Kelsey’s clinical background includes inpatient psychiatric hospitals, residential and substance use treatment, community mental health, school-based therapy, and clinical leadership. Throughout her career, Kelsey has supported individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, substance use, relationship challenges, major life transitions, and times when life simply feels overwhelming.

Outside of clinical work, Kelsey has coached soccer for more than 10 years, working with athletes at various ages and competitive levels. Coaching has strengthened her appreciation for connection, resilience, confidence, teamwork, and the impact a trusted adult can have in a young person’s life.

Kelsey’s approach to therapy is warm, genuine, collaborative, and down-to-earth. Her style is compassionate but direct—she will meet you where you are, challenge you when it can help you grow, celebrate progress with you, and use humor when the moment calls for it.

“You don’t need to come to therapy with everything figured out. Sometimes knowing that something needs to change is enough. We can figure out the rest together.”

Jessica Vander Espt, LMHC, LCAC, LCADC, LICDC-CS, CCS, CCTP

Licensed Mental Health Counselor | Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (IN, KY & OH)

Jessica is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and holds advanced clinical alcohol and drug counseling licensure in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio. She is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and Certified Clinical Supervisor. With more than 15 years of experience, Jessica helps people navigate mental health concerns, substance use, trauma, life transitions, and the patterns that leave them feeling stuck. She earned her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and her BA in Psychology from Indiana University Southeast, with specialized training in integrative and holistic mental health.

She draws from CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care, alongside a whole-person focus on lifestyle, nutrition, movement, and nervous-system regulation — recognizing the connection between mental, emotional, and physical well-being, and caring for the whole person, not just a diagnosis.

Compassionate, collaborative, and practical, she looks beyond surface-level symptoms to help clients understand their underlying patterns, build on their strengths, and create change that fits their lives. She also brings deep experience in behavioral-health leadership, clinical supervision, and program development.

“I believe people are more than their symptoms. When we take the time to understand the whole person — their experiences, their patterns, their strengths, and what matters to them — we can begin to create change that truly fits their life.”
